In our collections of hadiths such as al-Kāfi, we have many chapters and sections on morality and moral teachings. For instance, we have Kitab al-‘Ishrah which is a chapter on social life, containing advice on how to be a good citizen, a good companion, a good neighbour, and a good friend. There is also a section on the characteristics of the believers (Bāb al-Mu’min wa ‘Alāmātihī wa Sifātihī).
