A title and attribute of Allah, most often translated as “One,” however it does not represent the numerical number one. 

Instead, it means perfectly unique, partnerless, and indivisible. Saying that Allah is Ahad means that His Essence cannot be divided or counted. Allah’s existence permeates all things equally and completely. 

The name Ahad is mentioned in Chapter 112 of the Noble Qurʾān, called Sūrah al-Ikhlās, where it discusses the Oneness of Allah (tawḥīd).
